Despite water covering 71% of the planet's surface, more than half the world's population endures extreme water scarcity. In order to overcome such issues in our school premise we have implemented rainwater harvesting wherein we collect water into big tanks through pipes rather than allowing it to run off. We use the harvested water to plant our trees and plants and for other purposes such as ground water harvesting.

We at SPA get benefited from rain water harvesting through the following ways:
It prevents flooding of low lying areas in our school campus.
It replenishes the ground water table and enables our dug wells and bore wells to yield in a sustained manner.
