Hours of Operation: 9:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday - Saturday (Closed On School Holidays) The mission of our school Library is to provide teachers and students with those resources necessary for them to teach and learn to their greatest capabilities. Current, up-to-date materials and resources are readily available to administration, teachers and students of our School and the librarian plays an integral role in matching the resources with the patrons' needs. We have around 4000 library books under various subjects/categories like Science, Social, English, Tamil, Hindi, Maths, Reference etc.
The school SPA has 40 computers which allow students to perform good research and also communicate with different education providers. This help young Patricians understand the topic better by expressing different forms of teaching. We have supplied infinite resources for learning and made education more flexible and easy to access. The students get benefited from fostering online collaboration with other students, providing curriculum support and additional information to students, improving student's computer skills, making learning more interesting for technology.
The school has “Smart Class” facility to make teaching and learning a pleasure, and adding ease of access to the process. Smart Class facilities are installed in all 7 classrooms of the school. This program has proved to be of immense aid to both the teachers and the students. The teachers are now updated with the latest methods, tools and techniques to impart the necessary education. The students, on the other hand, enjoy the interactivity and understand baffling concepts easier. It has killed the drudgery and monotony that usually does creep into the orthodox methods of teaching; chalk-and-board, textbooks and regimented curriculum, etc. Digital Classrooms extend learning opportunities among the students in all spheres. Grammar exercises, map work, science experiments, etc. have all been made very easy to comprehend.
The school SPA has physics lab to cater to junior and senior students. The lab is spacious enough to accommodate 50 students at a time. The lab is well equipped to educate students’ trough the most powerful audio visual medium as we know physics is that branch of integral part of the core subject. We have many instruments, equipments, and apparatuses that are used for performing experiments in the different disciplines of physics. The mission of our school is to conduct many laboratory activities to enable young Patricians to gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and principles of physics.
Effective teaching and learning of science involves seeing, handling and manipulating real objects and materials. Keeping this in mind we have well equipped chemistry lab which allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. The young Patricians get benefitted with the conceptual and theoretical knowledge reinforces the material they study in class.
The math lab in SPA provides an opportunity for the young Patricians to discover mathematics through doing. It is a self explanatory lab with activities in which students takes interest to understand mathematical facts practically through models. Recreational mathematics is inspired by deep ideas that are hidden in puzzles, games and other forms to play.
At SPA, we have separate lab for biology to provide students with conceptual and theoretical knowledge to help them learn scientific concepts and through scientific methods to understand the true nature of science. In the lab, the young Patricians study detailed structures, morphological, physiological aspects of plants and animals. All the equipment and specimens that we have in the lab are open for the students to be used under teacher’s supervisions.
The language laboratory in SPA is very useful for assessing students’ speech. It provides students with the technical tools to get the best samples of pronunciation of the language. Language lab provides practice in an entertaining and interactive way to acquire the four main language skills. They are Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. The young Patricians learn more comprehensively through a language lab using more class time instead to achieve these three main objectives. The labs include tools for creating groups, watch videos, practice their pronunciation through a speech recognizer and learn new vocabulary and much more.
Our school has a portable basketball court because we want to start training kids from the age of 10 to develop them into better players for the future. The objective of basketball court in SPA is to develop students’ motor skills and co-ordination, boost self-image and to reduce their stress level.
Supervision is quite important at the age of 4-12 as they are learning and building skills rapidly. A rare phenomenon in the way side schools these days is to have spacious play area for students. This rarity is available in SPA, where students enjoy the play hours in times to go back to class in all enthusiasm. The Kindergarten is facilitated with recreational equipment such as the See-Saw, Merry-go-round, Swing set, Slide and many of which help children develop physical co-ordination, strength and flexibility.
The school believes in the overall development of the child. SPA gives equal importance to all sports. The playground is equipped with facilities for playing games and sport such as cricket, volleyball, throw ball, foot ball, badminton, shot put etc., It impacts hugely on almost every developmental aspect of the lives holistically and multifaceted ways.

The health and well being of the young Patricians is of utmost importance at SPA, with an infirmary within the school premises, we are able to provide quick medical assistance in time. The school infirmary is looked after by a qualified nurse. In cases of emergency or concern students will be taken to the local doctor or hospital in school transport.
Our school boasts of a highly accomplished music staff and a well equipped music room. Students learn singing by trained professionals of Indian classical and western genres. The school also has a choir group. Distinguished faculty trains children in both the disciplines of instrumental and vocal music. Students are encouraged to develop their talents and skills from an early stage.
Our School SPA has mesmerizing dance room where students are taught folk dance, classical dance, and western dance by highly qualified teachers. The room is well equipped with musical and dance instruments and even the technical equipment required for the creative, aesthetic and artistic nurturing of the children. Extra-Curricular activities and academic excellence from an integral part of the school curriculum. The school staff and management are clearly aligned in the school’s vision of having a strong and consistency dance programs within the school.
The Counseling room is located on the first floor of our school. Counseling helps young Patricians to improve their academic performance and to resolve personal or interpersonal problems. The counseling help the students enhance listening and social skills, learn to empathize with others, and find social support through healthy peer relationships. It makes the young children competent for future success, improves personal development, shapes the child for decision taking and making the process by developing their interpersonal skills.
At SPA, we have well equipped multipurpose hall with the latest sound systems and has a capacity to accommodate all the students and teachers of our school. This hall is used for various activates such as workshops, seminars, exhibitions, quiz competitions, cultural activities such as debates, dramatics, musicals etc. We have audio and video systems in our multipurpose hall with a projector that can be connected to a laptop for video presentation.
Our school SPA has sufficient no of cameras that monitor 24/7 to keep up the confidence levels of the parents and for the children to feel secure and safe. CCTV cameras are fixed in all corridors and grounds to monitor the movement of the children at SPA. The television set connected to the CCTV cameras is in Principal’s office where the Principal is in total control of the happenings in the school.
One of the unique features in SPA is a well equipped geography lab which plays a vital role in enhancing geographical base of a student. Despite of having a flex of world map, Tamil Nadu map and India map that helps the learner to know the exact location of states, countries, oceans etc., Our school lab is also enriched with maps, charts, globes, slides and apparatus required for students' reference.
Magic English of Karadipath Education is been followed in our school premise. It was introduced and followed with a mission to improve English Proficiency of students. Karadipath methodology developed approach to enhance English fluency among the young children through various modules like action, music and stories.
In our school SPA we have installed 6KVA solar plant. The solar plant that uses the sun’s rays to produce the electricity during day times. We use solar energy to reduce the unsafe, unclean consequences from using conventional fossil fuels. During bright sunny days, our solar plant produces nearly 30 units of electricity per day. Thus greatly reducing EB bills for our school.
We, at SPA provide all basic necessity for the children with atmost care and affection. In times of power interruption, we have the facility of generator that is capable of keeping the school fully powered and stay in session until the end of the regularly scheduled day.
Despite water covering 71% of the planet's surface, more than half the world's population endures extreme water scarcity. In order to overcome such issues in our school premise we have implemented rainwater harvesting wherein we collect water into big tanks through pipes rather than allowing it to run off. We use the harvested water to plant our trees and plants and for other purposes such as ground water harvesting. "Water is precious save it - Rain water harvesting solution to water crisis" We at SPA get benefited from rain water harvesting through the following ways: It prevents flooding of low lying areas in our school campus. It replenishes the ground water table and enables our dug wells and bore wells to yield in a sustained manner.
